It seems in the end that we get what we pay for, so I am happy to pay money if I have to, if I can find one that can do all these things well: Q up, choose destinations, and give me clear resolution options. I would be happy with stand alone software. The downloader need not be specifically aimed at YouTube. Additionally, they don’t make it easy to Q up the videos. I have so far been unable to get answers about this from the help forums provided. As I am downloading MP4s, the choices I get in the download menu are either an unspecified resolution, or one called “medium” which is meaningless. So far, the best I could find was DownloadHelper 4.9.5 that works with Firefox, but it has some problems. I am having trouble finding a YT dowloader that will both allow me to choose a destination drive for the download, and Q up multiple videos.
